As seen and heard on BBC Scotland, NPR Radio, The List, the stages of Kelburn Garden Party, Eden Festival, Knockengorroch, Doune the Rabbit Hole,  and countless well-loved stages all over the world, Cera Impala has toured internationally since leaving home in Flagstaff, Arizona in 94'.

From places like Portland, New York City, Olympia, all the way to Berlin and all over Scotland, she is a force to be reckoned with on the grassroots folk scene in Edinburgh.

Known for being a legendary banjo babe (as featured on Banjo Babes Calendar three years running!), Cera Impala’s music is characterised by a whiskey-honeyed voice, accompanied by complex and well-matured lyrics that make even the most mundane of moments sound magical.

Totally individual... Cera's incredible voice that will warm your heart and offer moments of escapism. ”

She is a magnetic songsmith with compositions that spin genuine and intimate yarns about a life wandering the path less traveled...her very own brand of hard-driving clawhammer banjo. ”

Not only a multi-disciplined instrumentalist and an accomplished solo artist, she is joined by incredible musicians like Dirk Ronneburg (funky fiddler of Viper Swing) and Joey "Jello" Sanderson (on the double bass) , to form the The New Prohibition.

In more recent project, "Delightful Squalor", Cera has teamed up with the likes of Lake Montgomery to create tunes inspired by country blues, gospel, folk and old-time jazz.
